Little Saiyalings - The College Years
By: MU

Author’s Note: In this chapter I just decided that I should change everything to past tense since my editor noticed that I have a tendency to drift towards it anyway.  Therefore, the story will now continue in past tense…and if this is unacceptable to you, I’m very sorry.  Have a nice day! J

Chapter 5 – Anger Management

“Daddy!!!!!!” A young woman with aqua colored hair yelled out as she sat in her well adorned bedroom and looked out the window.  She was very beautiful, but the fact that she was very distraught seemed to take all of that beauty away.  An angry look was stuck on her face, and her teeth were gnashing together.

“Coming dear!”  A yell could be heard down the hallway.  Soon thereafter, a short man in a white lab coat, with a white moustache and white hair burst into the room.  “I’m here Bulma,” he panted as a cigarette hung off of his lips.

“Meow,” the 2-dimensional cat that was on his shoulder said.

“Daddy, your experiment blew out the phone system!”

“Well, why don’t you use your cell phone dear?”

 “Cuz I CAN’T find IT!”

The 2-dimensional cat fell off of the man’s shoulder.

“Now Bulma Briefs, that’s no way to talk to your father,” he said to her, “Right Kitty?”  He then stooped down to pick up the 2-dimensional cat.

 Bulma then started crying.

 “What’s the matter dear?”

At that, Bulma started crying even more.  The man came over to her and gave her a hug.  She buries her head in his chest, and her ear rubbed against his “Dr. Briefs” name tag.

“Bulma, dear, in all your 18 years I’ve never seen you cry this much about anything.  Now please, let me help you?”  Dr. Briefs lifted up her chin as he said that.

“Daddy, I broke up with Yamcha.  He won’t be staying with us anymore.”

“What do you mean?  You’ve broken up with him before.”

 “This isn’t the same.”

 “Why not?”

“Because I’m thinking about my future daddy.”

Dr. Briefs thought about that as he blinked.  Dazed, he said “well, that’s a good dear…but what does that have to do with Yamcha?”

“Just the fact that it doesn’t feel right anymore,” she replied as she started fighting back the tears.  “And he told me that he wasn’t going to college.  He’s going to ‘chill out’ for a year.”

She got out of her father’s grip, and stood up.  No longer crying, she began to pace.  “Now daddy, I’m a busy woman.  I’ve got six majors, so I clearly have ambition.  I want to do something in my life, and I want the man I my life to feel the same way I do.  He needs to be ambitious and dedicated.  To have a goal, and Yamcha…”  She began to start yelling, “he isn’t any of those things.  That lazy bastard is NEVER going to amount to anything.  SO I NEVER WANT TO SEE HIM AGAIN!”

Dr. Briefs was stunned to say the least, and so was kitty, the 2-dimensional cat.  Bulma now looked angrier than she had ever looked in her entire life.  There was a long, defining silence (for about thirty seconds) as Dr. Briefs had to think about what to say.  To all of the parties in the room, it seemed to be like an eternity.

Finally, Dr. Briefs thought of something to say.  “Well it’s good, that you made that decision, dear.  Maybe you should talk with your mother about this because I think that you might be sick.”

“I’M NOT SICK, DADDY!” she screamed.

Dr. Briefs jumped up.  “Glad to hear it dear.  Here’s my cell phone to borrow.”  He hands her the phone and starts to heading toward the door.  “Time is precious, got to go finish the phone system repairs.  Why don’t you call Chi-Chi and talk to her.”  He opened the door, cat on his shoulder, and runs out slamming the door behind him.

Bulma stood in the middle of the room.  “Maybe daddy’s right, yeah.  I’ll call Chi-Chi.”  She began to dial.
