Little Saiyalings - The College Years
By: MU

Author’s Note: Well, this chapter is a while coming.  It was written on an airplane on the way to New York City, so forgive me if it isn’t the best one.  I hope you like it anyway.  There’s more on the way, so I hope you’re enjoying seeing your favorite characters.  They will me named soon.  Yay!

Chapter 14 – The Bored and the Restless

“Welcome to English 110,” the professor began, “I’m Professor Donald von Drake.  You can call me Prof. DVD.”

“Well, that just sounds stupid.”  Freeza interrupted.  The class started laughing.  “I suppose that your teaching assistant would be Mr. VHS?  Is his office at Blockbuster, maybe?”

At this, the class stopped laughing.

“You know gray boy,” Vegeta mocked, “that was one of the lamest things that I’ve ever heard.  Where do you get your jokes, off the back of a Laffy Taffy wrapper?”

The class started laughing, but was soon silenced by the teacher’s look, and the old green man that had just came in.

The professor continued, “Now since this is a freshman experience class, and it is University policy to do this…” The professor handed out the syllabus as well as all of the other necessary materials, and lectured about them for about 20 minutes.  Most of the people in the class fell asleep during this period, with the exception of a notable few.

Freeza and Vegeta stayed awake and gave each other looks of messy death.  Once in a while, however, they would look at the corner in the back of the room, where the mysterious tall, green man was…

Bulma and Chi-Chi also didn’t fall asleep; they paid pretty good attention to the teacher.  (Chi-Chi mostly paid attention because she knew that she’d have to bail Goku out on the facts later – he was sleeping.)  However, once in a while they both took the time to look at the tall green man in the back corner of the room…  (Bulma had a weird felling that the tall, young, green man was related to the short, old, green man.  They looked so much alike.)

Krillin had noticed something of particular interest when he looked in the corner of the room towards the tall, green man.  The person sitting in front of him was none other than the most beautiful woman in the world.  She had fallen asleep as well.  18 looks so beautiful and peaceful, sleeping like that.  Too bad I don’t know if she’s my angel or the devil incarnate, he thought to himself.

Finally, Pud hadn’t fallen asleep either, for two reasons.  The first was that he had made it so that the teacher hallucinated that he was taking to a captive audience, instead of a sleeping one.  The second reason, while he was using his psychic powers he also noted a strangely familiar student in class.  The bald, sleeping student had three eyelids shut as he leaned back in his chair.  The eyes were arranged such that two of the eyes were in the normal spot (for humans), but the third one was on the forehead, above the nose.  This particular student interested him more that anything else so he ignored the two green men.

The tall green man in the shadows of the corner of the room looked positively menacing to all that were looking at him.  They couldn’t tell whether he was sleeping or awake because he always had the same negatively-blank expression on his face.  He had kept his eyes closed since the moment he sat down.  Adding to the image, he kept his arms folded as well.

“…and that is this class in a nutshell,” DVD concluded, “any questions?”

Pud took this as the cue to drop the mind shield on the teacher, and at the same time wake up everyone in the class with his powers.  Then he thought about things for a second and decided to only be kind enough to wake up his friends.

“Now class, since, there are no questions, lets move on.”  DVD smiled at this while the some of the class groggily woke up.  “Today, I want you to tell a little bit about yourself and then say your name.  Wait scratch that, and reverse it.  Lets start from the back left corner.”

All eyes shifted to that corner.  What words would come from the tall, green man’s mouth?
